Supplying automated vent door control systems to the Underground Coal Industry

SYSTEM 1 Kit

A pneumatic control system kit to automate a single machine vent door installed as a low differential pressure segregation vent door between 2 x intake airways. No Depressurising Slider Cylinder is required as part of this installation. 


SYSTEM 2 Kit

A pneumatic control system kit to automate the 2 x machine vent doors installed as a high differential ventilation pressure airlock between an intake and return airway, with NO interlock connect between them.

NOTE: A Depressurising Slider Door is required in both machine vent doors for this installation to operate safely as designed or 2 x Booster Cylinders will be needed to assist the correct smooth and safe operation.


SYSTEM 3 Kit

An interlocked pneumatic control system kit to automate the 2 x machine vent doors installed as a high differential ventilation pressure airlock between an intake and return airway, with an interlock connect between them to reduce the risk of accidental ventilation short circuiting underground.

NOTE: A Depressurising Slider Door is required in both machine vent doors for this installation to operate safely as designed or 2 x Booster Cylinders will be needed to assist the correct smooth and safe operation.

 


01-FRAS BOOSTER CYLINDER KIT – NEW

The Booster Cylinder Kit has been designed to assist pneumatic systems that are working at their limit to open machine vent/regulator doors against extremely high ventilation pressures and can be easily retro fitted into existing pneumatic systems installed underground.


MAN DOOR DAMPENER – NEW

This is a custom designed closed oil circuit spring loaded dampened that is mounted on the outside of a man door to control the energy produced by ventilation air flow traveling through an open man door that tries to slam the man door closed.


UPGRADE KITS FOR EXISTING DMS SPEC PNEUMATIC SYTEMS – NEW

This kit has been designed to assist the end user when 2 x DMS spec pneumatic systems will not operate 2 x machine vent/regulator doors, without depressurising slider doors included as part of the doors design, installed as a high pressure ventilation airlock underground operate against extreme ventilation pressure safely or smoothly.

This Upgrade kit provides a cost effective, immediate increased level of safety, improved operation and reliability offered to the end user by adding known proven JE safety upgrades and is a cost effective option to not having to remove and replacing the complete old DMS spec kits.
